Make Up by Trisha

I said this in my last blog but I love when people decide to do this before a photo session.  It can really take the whole portrait experience to another level and it is great to do for senior and engagement pictures.  Here are a few pictures of Trisha working her magic!

Kelly

This is Kelly soon to be Mrs. Kelly! I gotta say her fiance is one lucky guy. I was so honored to be able to photograph her before she moves away.  She was a great sport and super photogenic look at those eyelashes...holla!! Kelly had her hair and makeup done by Makeup by Trisha - love when people choose to do this.  It just takes the portrait experience to a whole other level!

black and white

I love black and white photographs and I always say someday I will have a whole wall in my house dedicated to black and white pictures. I know this is unoriginal to say but they really do have that timeless, classic, pottery barn-esque feel. There are some many variations to black and whites and you can tweak them in so many different ways! The third picture is one of my favorites and I love the contrasty feel of it.

Tid bits of Tuesday

I love how blonde my sons hair gets in the summer and I know it may not be the best picture but I just had to capture it before I cut it today. I love it and know that one day that beautiful blond hair will go away.....sigh The other two were of my youngest just goofing around the house.

Adventures with Miss C

Despite starting early in the morning this session was a hot one! We pretty much fried out there but everyone was a trooper. By the end of it we were all hot, sweaty, thirsty, and tired. The last shots of the day were the ones of her in front of the white barn with the green suitcase. I almost didn't get them but I'm so glad we did!

you just never know

I had gone out to shoot my niece the other day (pics to follow soon!) and I had no intention of taking any pictures of the boys. None, nada, zip but when I saw them I just had to capture it! Now its one of my favorites :)
